The proposed interventions as part of the conservation landscape plan for the Rashtrapati Bhawan is based on the maintenance strategies suggested and recommended by the original architects, Lutyens and Mustoe, with the aim to recover, restore and manage the formal gardens of the Bhawan, without compromising on spatial and material integrity and authenticity.

Recommendations were made with appropriate conservation strategies for the weathered hardscape and stoneworks to bring back the refreshed glory of the imperial garden. Suggestions were made to has to plug the missing links to bring it in line with the original garden design based on our research, documentation and analysis.
