One of India’s premium educational institutions for management studies, the IIM Rohtak campus landscape scheme is a mix of formal gardens and academic courts, student interaction zones, recreation spaces and a primary vista.
The main arterial road is flanked by front gardens on both sides, guiding the entrants towards the arrival plaza which facilitates movement to the auditorium and the administration block. A water garden and green connection leads to the stepped garden which is designed to be a favorite amongst students and teachers alike as it will not only encourage the course towards the classrooms, it can also serve as a casual sitting and interaction/mini event zone.
The central library gets a view of the ‘bowl’—a circular- shaped amphitheater with a water body wrapping the iconic block at base. The central pedestrian spine is planned be a vibrant walk of the campus, connecting the administration to the residential via the academic blocks dissecting to a number of precincts like the convocation ground, a community centre plaza and a garden walk.
